Ayurvedically Dyed Yoga Mat in Organic Cotton

An award-winning completely organic yoga mat dyed with Ayurvedic herbs - can it get any better than this? 

We are very proud of our collaboration with Mathew and Niraamaya who developed this completely organic and Ayurvedic yoga mat. Woven in organic cotton, rubberized with natural rubber so as to stay in place on a floor, and infused with Ayurvedic herb oils from vetiver, wild turmeric and pomegranate. The oils give a scent of well-being. A harness to carry it in and a bottle of oil is included. Easy to roll up and take anywhere.

Ayurvedic medicine is a form of Indian medicine that can be traced back to around 5000 BC. Ayurveda means life and knowledge in Sanskrit. Our supplier, Mathew, operates in Kerala where the government invests in hand-weaving and Ayurvedic dyeing methods.

Origins:  The garment is hand-spun, hand-woven and naturally dyed in Kerala.
