MATHEW OCH ”VÄRLDENS MEST NATURLIGT PRODUCERADE YOGAMATTA”

MATHEW AND "THE WORLD'S MOST NATURALLY PRODUCED YOGA MAT"

Mathew started his Ayurvedic textile dyeing business in 2008 in Kochi, Kerala in southern India. The ancient doctrine of Ayurveda is very strong here.

The Indian government supports research, teaching and craft traditions within Ayurveda. This this programme helped Mathew meet doctors and weavers who work with these methods. He has a number of fine products that have a yoga connection, and in 2009 he launched "the world's most naturally produced yoga mat". This mat is made of hand-woven eco-cotton soaked in various herbs. It immediately became a great success among all Kerala's yogis and, in turn, received much media and press attention.

The Ayurvedic method is based on a holistic perspective. The important thing is not colour itself, but a medical combination of hearbst.

This is how Mathew puts it:

“COLOR FOR WELLNESS It’s no longer just what you put in your body that counts, but also what you put on your body. The desire for conscientious living is leading more and more consumers to choose organic clothes that are made using materials with qualities of wellness and goodness of nature within them. The colours for our products are chosen specifically for their unique wellness properties. “
